Starting out with the Mayor's Town Tour - Robert Grossi, The Mayor of Georgina, leads up to 100 Vintage and Classic vehicles, right through town, with his own 34 Chevy. The tour will pass by six beautiful building size murals as well as historic and scenic sites including the famous scenic Hedge Rd. lakefront drive.

With one of these attractions as a backdrop, you and your car will be professionally photographed - a rare opportunity that is always a favorite feature.

After the Mayor’s Tour, the numbers grow and the fairground becomes the hub of activity. A Disc Jockey spins the tunes while we hold raffles and give out prizes and trophies. Of course food is available. This year the Scouts are handling the concessions as a fund raiser to send them to their National Jamboree.

In years gone by, we have seen many very special vehicles. From a 1904 Morgan to the most gorgeous 56 Chevy’s around, quintessential Muscle cars, and trucks of all ages and detail. However, in the spirit of Earl Carpenter, the show’s inspiration and in-memorial namesake, all are welcome. “The Best of Show” trophy is a people’s choice award and we have always had fun with things like “The Largest Headlights” [on a car that is!] award. In other words, you are welcome to this show no matter what you drive, pristine vintage to chopped and customized or?????.

This year we are really encouraging clubs and groups to come out. Several are traveling up in cruise style, other just meet here. On registration, if you are affiliated or support a specific club, please note this as there will be something special for clubs with large attendance.

The Mayor’s Town Tour starts Marshaling at 9:30am, and leaves by 11:00am. The show and shine gets rolling just after 1:00, with all tour participants and those that just show up.

And remember, there is no entry or registration fees. Our fundraising is done mostly through community sponsorship and raffle ticket sales. Come on out, lend your support to CF (Cystic Fibrosis) and all the good works of the Kinsmen Club of Sutton. We look forward to seeing you!
